Austin and Kathie joined our team! welcome!

Dr. Momen-Heravi attended Leadership, Engagement, Action Development Program (LEAD)  at American Academy of Periodontology at Chicago.

Dr. Momen-Heravi visited Cell Signaling Technology (CTS) research laboratory and discussed achieving synergy in industry-academia relationship with CTS team.

Our lab awarded the Collaborative and Multi Disciplinary CAMPR Award to develop Exosomes/extracellular vesicles based biomarkers for lung cancer and head and neck cancer for patients undergoing immunotherapy. This a collaborative effort between department of our lab, Department of Hematology/Oncology, Department of Pathology, Systems Biology, Department of Biostatistics in CUIMC.

The aim of this Research Topic is to provide a comprehensive overview of the novel discovery in the emerging field of EVs in immunity. We seek submission of Original Research articles, Reviews, Mini-Reviews, Methods, Protocols, Perspective, and Technology Report that address, but not limited to, the following topics:

  1. Role of EVs cross-talk of immune and non-immune cells.
  2. Role of EVs in signaling events in immune cells.
  3. Immunoregulatory effect of tumor-derived EVs.
  4. Role of EVs in cancer immunotherapy.
  5. Role of EVs in inflammation and autoimmune related conditions/diseases.
  6. Novel methods and concepts for studying EVs in immune regulation.
